please do not torrent this game. support the devs
people always complain about denuvo, lets see if they are actually telling the truth stating they will buy a product if it doesnt include it. if sekiro and dmc5 had more torrent downloads then actual sales on steam, you can bet games in the future will have denuvo or some new anti cracker.

start supporting people who actually bring you joy in your miserable lives.

Exactly. If Activision can't get it together enough to give a time the game will be released, then they have it coming.

Is everyone here new to games or something?

Also denuvo doesn't take long to crack anymore, so that wouldn't have mattered.

I bought the game and have the right to download it from torrents.

point that it would've took longer to crack with denuvo than without still stands.

Pretty sure the problem he was referring to was that, even though the game would've still been cracked in a very short time after being released, the people who pre-ordered the game wouldn't be mad.
The thing is, right now those who download a cracked version can play the game and people like us, who pre-ordered the game: can't. So, some of the people who pre-ordered the game download the cracked demo cause they want to play the game as soon as possible, which just adds to the amount of downloads the cracked version of sekiro will have.
They could've avoided people getting mad by just releasing the game at same time for everyone worldwide. But they didn't, so now people who pre-ordered it on PC and aren't from Japan have to wait to play it, while those who decide to download a cracked copy can enjoy it for free.
THAT'S what the guy was referring to, but yes, absolutely, no matter when the game released it wouldn't have changed the fact that it would have been cracked REALLY QUICK, sadly.

people torrenting arent going to be buying games in the first place.
theres really no need in worrying about it.

I can believe that. Only example I can think of where a game got no real negative impact on performance from DRM was FF15. Even Load times were only a few seconds longer apparently. The devs must've worked hard to implement Denuvo seamlessly. Didn't really matter though since the game got cracked in a week from a group in China.

I totally disagree because denuvo nowdays eats away you processor alive! lmao a game should work accordingly to its system requirements but with denuvo its a big NOPE, like extra 20% of CPU because why not! So yeah if you want to encourage selling than the game sold by steam should actually work better than the pirated one otherwise leave me alone and mind you own business.

Waiting for PS4 version to arrive, but if there is no denuvo ill just grab PC version too for smooth frames, and not framepacing fiesta like BB on PS4. But if PC got denuvo .. well, no money for PC port from me... its simpple, i wont support malware... it was proven multiple times ... good game got good sales, crappy game with DRMs wont sell ( they will blame pirates of course)

If ya ask me it is nothing but a waste of time and only hurts the consumer people should pay for all there games plain and simple but. It has been proven that warez and cracking games does not hurt sales in-fact it boosts them. There has been many studies done on this and can be found on google I will not get in a debate about it nor will I post links to them do your own research If you disagree with it then I am not going to fight with you about it.

I will probably buy this game when I get the money but I will need to watch some twitch and youtube videos first so far looks great but I have not looked into there Microtransaction if it has any I will not buy and I will not be pirating any games any time soon but it does bother me that the cracked games run better again according to many sources I have read. Also there are many reasons not to pirate a game like wanting to support the developers or the game it self not to mention all the bug fixes and online game play If said game should have online play that is.

When you say that games are protected for so long that just does not work anymore and is more of a nuisance to people that want to be honest and buy the game. Now I can see the point of some pirates point of view as well they get to try the game first to see if its any good before making a purchase as we all know the game market is flooded with games not a very good excuse since Steam has a good return policy however with many other games going to other platforms some have terrible returns and some with none at all. Also again we go back to the protection that might run badly on older PC's or destroy some SSD's some even making you uninstall software you have on your PC like power ISO which I use and not for illegal purposes or spy on you yes all of the above have happened to me.

Anyways the protection DRM of today or ever a few years ago can be and always will be cracked and only the consumer suffers as well as fed up consumers head towards piracy due to publishes and developers with there Microtransaction and DRM overkill. And lets just be honest If a cracking group wanted to crack any of the new games on Day 1 it would happen. That is all I really have to say about the DRM issues. If ya made it this far thanks for listening.

Is torrenting game okay if I already have it in my library?

Also, please don't turn this into a Denuvo thread, especially since Sekiro does not have it.
