Big tree at buddest temple

So between the first and second idols where the monks and temples are there is a giant tree with a frayed rope around the bottom you can climb on top for some items and if you go to the edge of the branch overhanging the cliff and look arose to the next mountain there’s a small cliff with an item on it. I’ve been up to the main hall top of the mountain already just wondering how to get that item. I tried cutting the rope thinking the tree would fall part way and jump and grapple to cliff the rest of the way but no such luck. Been grinding around there it just bugging me don’t know why

Screenshots will have to wait heading to work and Zu I’ll try that. Not sure why it bugging me. Was grinding around there saw it thought maybe I missed a side passage along the mountain to re did the mountain but nope. Probably not even anything great just was nagging at me
