Is there a joke I'm missing about snake eyes?

Is the name 'snake eyes' supposed to be a joke on her literally auto tracking you, never running out of ammo, having more health than any boss I've fought to this point and doing more damage per hit than any boss I've fought so far? Like, what is this? Lady Butterfly was literally a cake walk, but every time I parry this ♥♥♥♥ she stuns me because I run out of posture.

When rolling two dice, if you ever get the number one on each dice its known as ‘snake eyes’. Rolling snake eyes generally means you lose. Maybe thats the joke. Snake eyes you lose, because everyone loses to her at least once.

I think her Name is more... literal, they are the eyes of the giant Snake Good... thats why they guard the entrance to the Snakes. For a tipp to kill them, they are weak to poison, you can mikiri counter their "danger" Grab and if you have it
Pupeteer Ninjustu helps a ton too

+ In japanese theire name is more read as "Bulls-Eye", which is also more fitting

i fought the boss as EARLY as humanly possible not knowing what i was in for, and i beat it after like 3 hours of getting my posture slammed into the floor. you can beat the mini boss if you are patient enough

I also had some problems with her. Parry the big slow meele attack that she does with her weapon and circle around her to dodge the other attacks, attack her 2 to 3 times and then repeat the process.

Yes it's a tough fight, get back to it, learn her moves, and you'll beat her! No worries man you got this, no matter how many tries it takes.

Alternativley, just go a different area for now and come back when you're stronger, it's up to you.

Exactly, try not to deplete your health bar op as this will result in death. Optimally you want to lower the enemy health so it reaches zero.

I hated this boss too. If you come from the gun fort (you can just run and dodge) you can come around from the back and lock in a stealth hit. Then, you can cheese here by constantly jumping on her head and attacking.

At first I thought this boss was ridiculous. But after I figured out how to get over behind her and get her first healthbar with stealth it wasn't as bad.

The only move of hers you really need to watch out is her perilous attack where she hooks you with her gun and shoots you... that was usually lights out for me. She's pretty easy beyond that.

To deal with her grab. Just jump straight up.

I found dodging twice back worked for her grab, then doing one dodge in to get a hit in.

Yea OP just follow the advice from the ppl on the forums. Everybody here never dies, deflects everything 100% and beat the game blindfolded EZ. Aside from that just keep trying man, you can do it

Snake eyes is not that hard at all... her 3 hits combo doesn't break your posture, and the last hit usually miss you... The only dangerous move is her grab which looks like a sweep attack, i made some mistake by trying to jump over it.

I fought this boss with only suriken, no need to perfect deflect...
