Is Jinzaemon Kumano a future reference to the Afro Samurai ?
Notes & Trivia

(Japanese Default Language version) He has a Westernized Japanese accent, it may be a tribute to Yasuke (African Samurai) in 1579.

Does anyone in this community knows how a black/blasian Japanese accent sounds like i.e. if he was a foreigner learning Japanese.

Or does Jinzaemon Kumano have an accent ?

Well, he could also be another African brought to Japan. While Yasuke was the most famous of his era, and the only recorded to be considered a samurai, Portuguese traders had brought African slaves along with them.
