Hey both of you, have you tried any troubleshooting for that issue? We don't have anything directly for a black screen in the [Troubleshooting Guide](https://steamcommunity.com/app/814380/discussions/0/1850323802576197652/), but it is similar to what others reported with the game not launching.
First off though, I would just recommend trying to launch the game in windowed instead of full screen (you can try Alt + Enter to see if that will switch it). Also, check to see if you have any programs that are forcing graphical settings or options, like GeForce Experience. Lastly, try Verify Integrity to see if there are files that are damaged or messed up.
Let me know how that goes and if you have any other details.
I'm afraid it isn't that uniform of an issue. This type of issue could be caused by a wide variety of things. Could you let me know what troubleshooting you've tried already so I can see what other options there might be? Also, when it crashes does it give you any kind of crash error or log?
Sorry to hear you are running into that too. What troubleshooting have you tried so far? Let me know specifically so I can see what other options you have. Thankfully, for this type of issue there is a great deal to try because of how many different tings could be creating that issue, whether it is a program interfering, a driver issue, a hardware issue, or just damaged files.
No its just a black screen and on task manager it show that it not responding.
Intel i7-4790k
Geforce GTX 1080

Thanks for the responses. It is hard to know exactly what you've tried, so my first reaction would be to ask for a list of what you've tried so I can compare it to all of the options I know of, but first off I see you are using an Intel i7. Do you know if you have Intel Turbo Boost enabled?
A few players have mentioned that causing issues. Try disabling that to see if it helps. Just do the following:
- Type “Intel TBMT 3.0 Control Panel” into the Win 10 search
- Open up Turbo Boost's control panel
- Uncheck the Enable box
- Apply
Let me know if that makes any difference.
