stuck on the divine dragon!!!!!
im stuck on the divine dragon, cant get past his second phase. ive watched all the videos yet i cant get past that last lighting strike on him. i can get him to his one shot phase and dogde all his attacks and get to the part where blast the lighting but once i grapple to the last tree with lighting sekiro grapples to it and launches up but i don't get embued with lighting like the previous phase. is my game buggs or do i need a item or specific key combo. im on the pc btw. also ive down this boss like 35 times to no avail after watching the youtube vids

i got the ability from genicho to redirect lighting but the ability doesnt work on Div dragons last phase

during the last phase i grapple to the tree with lighting and sekiro launches up but i cant shoot lighting back at the divine dragon. he then pushes me back with a gust of wind im on PC so is there an buttonsim missong to redirecting the lighting back? i usually just grapple then mash melee becaues that what sent lighting back to the dragon during his first phase after the wierd nobles

Are you waiting for lightning to actually hit? In the last phase, you jump (automatically, after the grapple), then a gust sends you even higher, and only then does the lightning strike.

okay so during the last phase when hes one shot, before the death blow. i see lighting hit the tree i grapple to it and sekiro gets launched up into the air. but i cant send lighting towards the boss. i just get launched up the hit by the bosses gust.

so am i supposed to grapple to the tree, then jump, and jumping activates a gust of wind and i get struck by lighting after that and am able to send it back to the boss? because ive done that and ive yet to been able to send lighting back to him

It was like the easiest boss in the game killed him first try without taking any damage.

and thats one thing ive tried i seen the trees come up, see the one hit by lighting and i grapple to it. i land on it get launched up. but i dont get launched up like everyone else has in the video. and i get hit by the bosses of gust of wind and get nearly one hit by that gust.....


am i supposed to wait until the boss uses his gust of wind and time the auto launch from the tree during the last phase?

idk its frustrating because ive done what everyone else does in their videos and i dont get laucnhed up like they do in the second phase. i always get hit by his gust after i laucnhed off the tree and lighting never strikes me after that launch

You look at which tree got struck by lightning. Youngrapple to that. You automatically jump, then an automatic gust takes you up higher, then lightning strikes and you hit attack.

Just watched a video: you might get unlucky and the boss might throw you out of the animation with one last attack. In that case you need to try again.

so its just trial an error becuase ive watched the most relevant video for that boss fight and i launch up like him in the video but i dont get hit by lighting and then i get hit by a gust of wind and get luanched to the end of the boss arena. do i just need to keep trying until i get hit by lighting after that launch?

You need to press R1 when it launches you up like that. Also look at the grapple point where the lightning is at. Dont randomly grapple a tree.

That was the easiest fight in the game in my opinion once shot it. In my opinion so far the hardest boss was lady butterfly if you don't cheese her ... the demon of hatred or owl the second time a lot easier than her LOL
