Sabimaru – What's it good for?

I can't find good use of Sabimaru. It's expensive to use, easy to interrupt and deals baby damage. Firecracker stun seem far more useful.

The description also says its very good against Okami Warriors

Yeah it has the problem that a lot of tools have, which is that it's too expensive compared to the strength (or lack thereof) of its effect. Sad, because I really like the repositioning combo and wanted to be able to use it more often.

I found it useful a handful of times against poison-prone enemies that block a lot...but I still doubt it's better than the same number of emblems spent on firecrackers, as you've noticed.

I used it on the final boss, and some enemies. Poison does a fair bit of vitality damage over time, and enemies mostly can't attack you during the Sabimaru combo, so it's safe. The alternate combo you get with the 2nd form is pretty worthless though.

all i ever used was the shuriken because of the follow up attack.

the whole prostetics thing did not seem well implemented. Sometimes i had to use an axe against shields and that was it.

Poison is very effective on certain bosses, but it's difficult to tell who is immune and who isn't.

One of the Snake Eyes falls victim to poison very easily, the other is almost entirely immune.

long story short - its useless.
you can use it on elite samurai mini boss and other samurai enemies but any other enemies in the game will just block your entire barrage of strikes.
upgrading it to max will make it more viable.
80% of prostetics are useless and never used
