Actually there is only 1 snake it just moves around are you daft or just ignorant
You know you encounter a snake after you kill the first one on the second meeting, right? I think we know who is daft. Encounter it the first time - wound it. Second time - kill it. The next encounter is a different snake.
When you first meet the snake and blind him, he has the eye wound the second time you meet and kill him. The third encounter is with a pristine unwounded snake.
I dont know if you noticed but the snake has a parasite in it just like the Guardian Ape and just like the Ape the snake resurrects after being defeated. Thats how you see it again later in the game even though you kill it in the valley. All three times you see the snake it is the same snake every time.
Proofs?

Nah Codooper whatever is just being a fool. There are two snakes. The snake underground doesn't have an injured eye while the one in the Sunken Valley does. You can go and look at the underground snake and see that it doesn't have an injured Eye than you can go back and kill the Sunken Valley snake and see that it does have an injured Eye. Either the devs ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up or there are two snakes.
I've had it with these snakes...
