How to perform whirlwind slash?

I just unlocked the Whirlwind slash skill and can't figure out how to use it. I'm playing on a controller and it says to press LB+RB but that isn't working. I can't find anything online about how to use it. So does anyone know how?

u have to equip the skill in the pause menu first, before u can use it

I didn't realize it added a new menu. But i don't seem to be able to quip it. I've tried clicking on it with ever button but I don't see any indication that it's equipped. And LB+RB still seems to do nothing.

Euqip it in the slot in your Menu - after that you are able to use it by pressing LB+RB (L1 +R1 PS4 pad) simultaneously. It works instantly.

Everyone is acting like this is a stupid question but I had the same problem.
The solution is to make sure it's equipped in your Equipment submenu as well as your Skills submenu.

Make sure you've equipped it in the equipment menu, then try holding down LB and then pressing RB

Bro this is from years ago how did you even find this?!? Idk why it wasn't working when I posted this but when I redownloaded Sekiro like a year later and started over it worked fine
