Is it just me, or is the Abandoned Dungeon really small?

I've only found the waterway and bottomless hole shrines, and it seems like there's nowhere else to go. Is that really all, or am I just missing something? It seems like a waste to have a distinct zone only big enough for 2 shrines.

It's all. Serpent Shrine is also like that. It's just a house.

Well, that's dissappointing.

The serpent shrine doesn't really count, as its just a location within the Ashina Castle zone

The bottomless hole just leads to the Ashina Depths, doesnt really expand on the Abandoned Dungeon

Not really. There's the bottomless hole where you can jump and find stuff. There's the right path right as you enter the area where you can find a mini-boss. There's stuff underwater too. It's not bad for an "intermediate" area as its only real purpose is to connect Ashina with Mt. Kongo.

Is this the place with the purple miniboss, crickets, 2 timing zombies and a surgeon? If it is then that was pretty small. Half on ground and half swimming.

Someone said "stuff under water"? Can you dive? I always wondered how to kill carp that is under the surface.

The dungeon is pretty much just a hub zone, not a proper zone on its own. So yes, it is quite short.

Was disappointed too, I was expecting some sort of hidden late-game area once I got the diving ability.

An unfinished zone most likely, it was very small and really only served as a transition point.
