Can we talk about that excellent sequel bait in the Return ending
Cause seriously, while playing through the game I was thinking that it might be hard to turn this into a franchise or something. But now I can't frikkin wait, just hook it into my veins!

Judging by previous Fromsoft games, the dlc will probably be added during the mid game and not added to the end to continue main story.
Then again this isn't a Souls game and it has an actual written story not hidden behind lore and such.

Im thinking that the "journey west" will see them fighting their way through a china and mongolia like setting, maybe ending with them returning the "dragon's heritige" (special blood? bloodborne? anybody? vileblood in particular?) to europe

and there is a 100% chance sekiro dies. calling it out now.

But if the divine dragon originates from a china like area, I can't wait to see what other eyegasm bosses wait there

The whoile game is a loop every single ending is just a loop. In one you become the sculptor, iin the othe the demon of hatred, to me the return ending just means he becomes the devine dragon or some crap like that...

I don't think they'd go to Europe, the Dragon looks pretty chinese to me, and the Corrupted Monk's name is Priestess Yao, which also seems like a pretty chinese name.

It would depend if this is linked to the souls universe or not, I think it is quite possible, between "divine beings" and blood having such a profound effect on people/gods/society...

walks like a bloodborne, quacks like a bloodborne, just dosent quite look like a bloodborne

Journey to the west. You get an extending staff and you got to fight a pig demon and a bull demon at some point, or maybe you meet them as neutral/friendly NPCs.

A wukong staff prosthetic or skill tree would be amazing

If they make a sequel to this game, I want a section in the end credits dedicated to all the game journalists out there who cry about the game being too hard for them

looking at you guy who was so insecure about beating the final boss with cheats that he wrote a whole article on it

I hope they make a sequel.
Didnt have that much fun with a game in a long time.

I thought it was just a reference to the Saiyuki Journey West, didn't really see the grounds for a DLC there? If there is and they follow up on it, it should logically be set in India, fighting against Hindu gods and all that.

I’m not really sure where you got India from, everything about the Dragon suggests China to me. Was it just because of the Shura/Asura thing?

I guess you can read it like that, but the Demon of Hatred isn't Sekiro from the Shura ending, it's the sculptor.

Might be my last one. If they didn't turn this or Dark Souls into a series.
