killed an NPS

i killed dosaku ,i know i can't revive him but i need to know if he is important or not . do i need to restart the game or not ?

He's not a key character, no. He is linked to a side quest that gives you some items but if I remember, they are just consumables. I beat the game without ever talking to him again so you can definitely continue without any penalties.

You can just attack him.

I killed him, and it ended the side quest early.

You can try again in NG+.

Your reward for completing that quest is an absurdly difficult NPC fight that gives you almost nothing. It's well worth the effort.

but if i didnt finish his quest i wont get the ability to dive right ?

No, you get that from another source.
