Lol no, nobody takes games "journalists" seriously, they aren't even gamers. Just aspiring political activists that couldn't get that job at CNN or Huffpo they wanted so try to make a name for themselves writing nothing but idiocy about games and movies.
What some of us are laughing at is people being triggered and acting shocked that a gaming publication would promote cheats. Like i said they've been doing that since forever. Go and open up an edition of w/e SEGA or Nintendo mags were popular during the SNES and Megadrive era and you'll find cheat codes for w/e game. Same thing during the N64 and Playstation era, same thing with PC mags.
the highest difficulty at the new GOW was very unique and required alot of special tactics it was compltely different from the other difficultys, and atleast as hard as sekiro.... but platinum farmers and ps4 angry casual gamers, would have been too upset if they could not get their platinum it playing at easy mode.
alot of games are afraid of the angry mob of casual gamers, from soft is not.thats why they are so great. pretty pathetihic that the new god of war for instance was to afraid of the less skilled gamers to include a difficulty trophy for the max difficulty.
btw, hopefully cheating locks achivments right?
There is literally an app that allows you to instantly unlock all / specific achievements for a game. If you can do something like that, I'm sure using cheats won't lock em.
What makes you think that PS4 gamers are casuals? There are plenty of games on PS4 that can be considered difficult, either by design or by cranking up the difficulty.
that totally disgusting. i take some pride in knowing that i got a achivement that only 1-2% of other players got, but if people cheat their way to them its just pointless.
i quess you cant cheat your way to a achivement at the ps4 the same was as you could do on the pc?, and thats why they usually dont include them for platinum?
It's a video game... no one cares except you.
Yes, because playing a single player game with cheats and writing on the internet about it is serious business, like Nazis.
Legitimate argument.
It sounds like a "git gud" NPC trying to catch sentience.
No man you don't get it. Nazis and ♥♥♥♥.
Their rating systems are a joke, their opinions are obviously unimportant if they can't bother to even play a game legit and not to mention most of the journalists make it more about everything else except the games they talk about.
I only ever bother with them if they have footage of something i am interested in otherwise which is really not much of reason considering they could give that footage to anyone and i would watch it.
Cheated himself out of learning to beat it.
Cheated himself out of learning.
Cheated himself.
Then brags about it.
That's childish entitlement.
It's not perfect. It has flaws.
It's still absolutely brilliant much of the time.
And beatable, if you persevere.
Man what an humongous amount of salt.
Youtube reviewers to be much better at reviewing games and have a much better attitude towards them. They tend to appreciate individual games for what they are, not what the reviewer wants them to be which is the case with the legacy media outlets.
The legacy media outlets are filled with mediocre writers and bad thinkers with a huge sense of entitlement. They want to easily beat everything to feel emotionally validated, without having to struggle seriously, learn and overcome.
That they are so ardently against learning when it is difficult is particularly damning of them. They are not the kind of people to take any advice or input from. They actively dislike learning and overcoming difficulty.
Kotaku, Polygon, PC Gamer, RPS, etc... Filled with entitled children who would ruin everyone else's experiences because they don't get easy emotional validation without having to work for it.
Please From Software, NEVER listen to these people.
