Fulminated Mercury?

Can you farm this or is it a limited amount like that purple powder? If you have gotten it to drop please provide where and at what point in the game. Can't seem to find this besides the one i found on return to Hirata.

You can farm it from the red samurai in burning Ashina Castle.

I’m not sure which purple powder you mean because you can farm all of those too.

It's white powder before the tier before lapis lazuli

Use the gold vortex + mibu + demon bell.

I got 1 every 4 runs and the runs are incredibly short.
Run to the middle guy with the flamethrower and vortex them. Run back rest and repeat.

He probably talks about lump of grave wax.
It is pretty rare drop, but you can get it from the dude that wants red eyes from the carp and find it just lying around. Supposedly it can drop from the bell ogres in mibu village, but it's pretty rare. But if you want to farm skill points, then that's a perfect place, because you will probably get most EXP from that place easiest way (most of the enemies will die in one hit) and get a chance to farm wax as well.

Just did exactly that and got the achievement a few mins ago, thanks everyone. Thank God it only takes two NG cycles to get all the upgrades so no more demon of cuck.

Note: Grave wax can also be farmed from nobles in fountainhead, should it ever matter to OP.

You can also farm fulminated mercury from the Gun Fort. Kill everyone, usually at least 1 person drops it ever 2-3 runs.

Only limited resource is lapis Lazuri.
