not sure why the need for such a cpu for 4k, but thankfully I'm running a 2700x cpu myself and a 2080 gpu, makes me wonder about the cpu optimizations though or if it's gonna have a lot of denuvo calls during gameplay or something

May I ask a question:

The officially recommended CPU is "Intel Core i5-2500K and above" (see [1]), why should a better CPU be needed for just a higher render res. Going from 1080p/60fps to 4K/60fps puts just more load on the GPU. No need for additional CPU power...

It’s possible they didn’t test it with the same CPU just a different rig all together. Typically developers don’t test every possible option just what they have available

I would hope people planning to play brand new triple A games at 4k 60fps would have at least an 8700k or 2700x anyway.
