How many necklace for last boss

Hey im actually at sword saint and I was wondering how many necklace you guys had when you killed him.

I had 8, and you can make a total of 10. I finished the remaining two in NG+, looking up the prayer bead locations I had missed my first time around on the Sekiro wiki.

I had nine. Beat him in NG and NG+2.

I had 7. I missed a bead somewhere and I can't be bothered to look something like that up. I'm pretty sure it was a Headless but I beat him so no skin off my nose.

Nah Headless only drop the Spirit Emblem version of Sugar Candy. If I had to guess (you said you are missing one) it's probably a Mini-Boss that shows up beneath Isshin's room during the last attack on Ashina at the end of the game.

9, although whats most important is learning the moves, there is no amount of health that will save you from not knowing move set of this boss.

There are a few beads behind hidden walls or at the bottom of ponds and stuff too, so it could've been one of those

True, the last one I needed was at the at those hidden graves in Sunken Valley. I kept running past it without checking to see what it was, since those 3 ghosts would show up and I was like "meh screw that" and kept going to the Headless.
