Phase 2 with no attached head you can cheese it by keeping away (get close enoughish to make him swap up attack patterns or he will just perma chase) until he does his slide attack on his stomach and jump over to around neck or further behind and hit him a bunch quickly and back off once he decides to do something else. Back off when he is about to scream ASAP. Rinse repeat for easy win.
