Demon Bell
Is this thing really worth it? Do I get an achievement for clearing the game with it?

I already think the game is insanely hard, but I mean.... why the hell not? It took me 5 years to clear Pikachu and Snorlax. Why not have another 5-year adventure? -_-

All it does is make you take more damage, in exchange for significantly increased item and maybe money drop rates. (Not experience though)

There’s another way to make the game more difficult in a more meaningful way once you beat it.

You get more items and the game gets harder but I think that's it. You can turn it off at any time too

What kind of items? Regular consumables? (which you need to pass this madness) Or any special items? And the money... well I guess you need that too to buy even more Items to survive.
If it's just regular items and has no other benefit and no achievments, then... why would you do that?
So in the end it's a zero win situation.

If you rang the bell, your game become hard mode, all enemies are buffed up, consume the demon thinggy the bell gave you to cleanse the effect

You get more of any drops, and that includes consumables AND crafting materials.

In fact, you get so many even of rare ones, you don't know what to do with them.

I am really not sure you take more damage. But enemies have +100% vit and +50% posture for sure.

to be honest i didnt really notoce the difference. item drop rates are higher though.
nu1x Apr 1, 2019 @ 4:45am
The difference is not as pronounced as no charm ng+

Do you have to physically go back to re-enable the bell if you turn off the buff?

ya you have to ring the bell again if you want the "buff" again.
