Question about Snake Viscera

Please give as few spoilers as possible

I got both the snake viscera and I was curious about what they are used for, found out about the extra ending (I don't know what even happens in that ending) and I'm trying to get started on that ending. The wiki says I need Holy Chapter: Infested but the two locations it mentions are seemingly empty. The monk isn't praying at the Buddah statue and there is nothing at the bottom of the pool. Where do I get this holy chapter?

Also I chose to break the iron code a moment ago, does that have something to do with it?

You need to take rice from Divine Chilld 3 times, until she is in pain. And then give her persimon and ask for more rice. She will give it to you and then some rice for Kuro. You need to give it to Kuro. Only then you can find a scroll in a pond at Temple Grounds sculptor's idol.
Not sure if you can still do the rice thing after you fought Owl or not. And you obviously can't do that if you side with im.

I was able to do the rice thing before you fight owl and now I cant even trigger the events to get to Owl. I'm currently on the part where I have to wait for the divine child to open the shrine doors and I am not able too. Plus Emma keeps saying that she will start looking for another way to sever Kuros dragon heritage and now I'm stuck.

Not sure what do you mean by not been able to fight Owl. But Divine Child will complete her transformation only after you finish everything at Fountainhead Palace. Then she will give you frozen dragon tears you can give to Kuro in the end alongside dragon tears for Return ending. If you want offcourse. You still can chose other items and get other endings.

Yeah I'm currently trying to do the Return ending and I guess I'm confused about getting into the Fountainhead Palace. I thought you were only able to get there by killing the owl and then using the incense to get to the Palace

Well, why can't you kill Owl? Kill him, clear Fountainhead palace, then get frozen dragon tears from Divine Child. Am i missing something?

I don't know dude the Owl is not appearing at all. I killed the ape twice and killed the illusion corrupted monk. Hes supposed to appear after that right?

Ok, you need :
1) mortal blade wich i guess you already have.
2) flower from a cave after Guardian Ape boss.
3) stone from a cave after illusionary monk
After that all sculptor's idols but one in Ahsina castle will be severed and new enemies and Owl will apear.
If it is not working properly then it is a bug.

The Infestation divine text is still not at the bottom of this accursed pond. I even had sweet rice with Kuro, maybe I need to go back to Divine Child?

Also we are talking about the pool down from Temple Grounds, yes?
