Just Beat Sekiro, Any way to go back?

Just beat the game and I picked the Forsake Kuro ending, which is awfully disappointing, didn't know that ended the game with all the other items I had and couldn't do anything with.

Anyways, is there a way to transfer save files from another player to try and go back right before the Owl decision? Or do I just have to start a another game and play through it all again? Purposely trying to keep this spoiler free as possible.

Why not just jump into NG+? It will be extremely easier/quicker for you as the enemy dmg scaling doesn't really kick in until mid-late game anyway.

I think it's possible but probably a huge pain in the ass, if you had a save backup you could jump back to that

if you made backups of your save then you could do that if no then you need to go ng+ or start a completly new game

I don't have a save backup, but if this is a thing, probably find someone to upload it, it's possible though?

I could go into NG+ but I just don't feel like redoing everything again just for one decision difference, if there was actual new content I'd consider it, but it's like I know everything so it's not as fun.

Probably? There was a guy on the forums a little while back saying he'd give $5 to whoever took his save file and beat the final boss for him, so presumably it's possible. I also know that you can send save files and stuff to other people in other games, so I don't see why it wouldn't be possible

There's actually quite a lot of content left in the other routes. NG+ is quick to run through so although this sucks you really should give it a go if you enjoyed the game this far

You're kind of doubly screwed, since you won't get Kuro's charm to remove the majority of the NG+ penalties, and you missed a bunch of bosses so your attack power will be lower than it probably should be.

if you type %appdata% into your search bar and look for sekiro you can just copy the save to another place
i have like 8 different backups at different parts of the game so i can do all the endings

Not sure what that is, is it that much harder? Are there new mechanics or just harder hits?

As far as I can tell, it’s mostly just that not perfectly deflecting attacks still makes you take damage, and posture regenerates way slower.

I did enjoy the game, just would rather not replay it since there's alot of other games I wanna play DMC 5, Nier, Darksider 3, Metro Exodus. Do you get to keep everything from before in NG+?

Yeah you get to keep everything except story related key items and skills like diving and the mortal blade.
