SPOILERS - Trying to get Dragon's Homecoming ending, need help

Obvious spoilers.


For the Dragon's Homecoming, all the guides I can find are very unclear and/or conflict with each other. The one thing they have in common is getting more rice from the Divine Child until she gets sick, but I can't get more rice from the Divine Child, nor can I give rice to Kuro.

I've gotten both serpent fruits and killed Owl already and haven't proceeded any further, which is exactly where I'm supposed to begin getting this ending. Help?

You have to use the rice for another harvest to be ready, once she gets sick feed her both persimmon.

Try exhausting all dialogs with kuro to be able to give him the rice.

As long as you dont do the big boss of fountainhead palace youbare ok to do the sidequest.

I ate the rice. She won't give me more. All dialogue is exhausted with both her and Kuro.

3 rices she gets sick, give persimmon or Taro persimmon.
she gives rice for kuro. Give it to him.
Reset area
Talk to Kuro again for healing items, either eat it there or leave. Report on results to child.
give infested text 1, you can either get it from an NPC if you come in early, or from the Senpou pond if you didn't.
Reset area
Go to illusory halls and talk to her.
get infested text 2 from the cave outside the temple. Give it to her in the illusory halls.
give snakebits.
reset area, do the eavesdrop prompt
Enter Fountainhead
return and get frozen tears/fine snow rice.

Ok I had to get the incense ready, get the "scent on me" and then reload the area, then Kuro gave me a rice ball. That's the thing all the guides left out.
Now I can get more rice, and keep eating to get more. Now she gave me Kuro's rice.

If Kuro is busy with a particular task like the incense burner he can't be cooking up rice balls.
