So who the hell is Isshin The Sword Saint?
Is he the younger version of Isshin Ashina that has been planted as a tumor inside his grandchildren body or what?

Genichiro used the Mortal Blade and some black magic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to use his life to summon Isshin back from the underworld which according to the battle memory brings you back in the prime of your strength.

The latter is, the former is something you really just gotta extrapolate from that weird scene.

Some document mentions the second mortal blade being the key to open a gate or something like that. So that does make sense. Its just poorly told. Just as usual.
