Does Sabimaru ever become worth anything?
I have it upgraded to second level and I've used it off and on against both bosses and regular mobs and I have never gotten a poison proc once. Is this thing totally useless or what?

Well it can kill madame budderfly all by itself so... I guess it's not that bad.

Well you need to stack the poison to get it to proc. Try 2 full combos in succession

It is really good for some encounters, for example mini-boss Red-Eyed Ashina Samurai. Three attacks with Sabimaru is enough to poison him so you can run away and don't need to worry about his one-shot attacks.
