Don't know where I'm suppose to go next

I just defeated Genichiro on that rooftop where he has three phases and I am not sure where to go. Little guy told me to look for Issin but I'm not sure what building i'm suppose to head to. I keep running in circles on the rooftops fighting those fur coat dudes.

I'm trying to avoid all guides so sorry if it seems like a simple google. I just don't want anything spoiled for me.

Open the window behind Lord Kuro and turn right. Isshin is in the building on the right side.

Get rekt. Literally been swinging like a monkey looking for this guy. Thanks dude. Will it be clear cut where I have to go next after encountering him? Once the game opened up I started getting hella confused.

The kid did tell you to follow the purple smoke symbols or whatever on the roofs, if you did that it would lead you straight to him.

After you talk to Isshin, I think he just tells you to go back to Kuro, who then tells you exactly what he wants you to do.

I explored a heck of a lot before actually facing him, once you find Isshin.. you're suppose to go to Kuro again and then he'll tell you to go to Sunken Valley, it's beyond the castle I could tell you a bit more but you really should explore. And if you already explored that place then - Use your key on the shrine door that's locked.. Have fun.

From what i see in my game currently(haven't fought Genichiro yet), after exploring Ashina castle you can go to:
- Sunken Valley
- Senpou Temple

To get to Sunken Valley you'll have to port to the idol inside the castle where you encounter those edgy samurai dudes, and drop down from there

I'm at the sunken valley right now and everything is fking me good lol
