General Tenzen Yamauchi - No Prayer Beads

So while cleaning out the small guys guarding this General, he aggroed and I ran towards a cliff and used my rope to get to a tree branch. Wouldn't you know the guy chased me and fell right off and died. Lucky me. The only problem is I didn't get his prayer beads for defeating him. He doesn't reset and there's nothing in the offering box. I have no idea how to reset a previous save and I don't really want to start over again. Ideas?

AFAIK there is a kill box for enemies but it's a long way down.

Check the small shrine next to Hanbei the undying at the Dilapidated Temple map. It's suppose to collect important loots that are missed or irretrievable.

If its not in the box next to Hanbei then I guess you'll have to get it in NG+

That's all I got was a Prayer Bead. Was hoping to get a gourd seed. It was a let down for sure.

One prayer bead isn't really going to make or break your playthrough. Get it in NG+.
