Codex to Steam save...? Possible?

So yes I was a filthy pirate what wanted to try the game first, blah blah blah, but I've bought the game now and was wondering if there is anyone who has successfully transferred a Codex save file into the Steam version of the game?

I tried the whole hex editor/checksum thing but was unsuccessful, but the tutorial I followed seemed more geared towards restoring a corrupted save anyways.

Just wondering if anyone has successfully managed it?

I think the hex editor would be the only way, as its essentialy replacing save files from one steam to another. I wanted to transfer someones file too to get the height of technique achievement so I wouldnt have to farm it but I cant get around the hex editor either.

Or you can use simplesekiro in nexus mods. I did it to transfer game save from the "cracked version" to the current official game.

Use the mod suggested by Eleson mate, it worked perfectly.

How did you do it bro? i am confuse i have the simplesekiro and i want to transfer my save file from my cracked sekiro to my legit one
