Stuck at Ashina castle.
I'm a bit lost both storywise and where I have to go wise, I went through Ashina castle where I thought I was supposed to find Kuro. I've explored the abandoned dungeons but I haven't killed the mini-boss there since he is too tough for me atm, I've explored all of Mt Kongo (Though the 'priest monk' thingy at the top mentioned an Inner Sanctum where the holy person is and an old lady pointed at the snakes nest across the valley, dunno where these 2 areas are accessed from), I've explored the entire area of Ashina castle like the other side of the broken bridge, the monkey garden, went back to the reservoir where you start, explored inside the castle at the top of the stairs (Though there is a hidden room I haven't gotten into yet since I don't know where the entrance is). There are 2 other places I haven't gone through yet as well, the gun fort is way to hard even with the umbrella (I can't get past the first mini boss). I also haven't killed miss Butterfly yet, I'm not sure if I have to wait til I'm stronger or it's just really flipping hard.
If somebody could help me out and tell me where I have to go that'd be real nice.

You're supposed to go atop ashina castle. If you mean the blocked door where you can see the room behind thru a window, you need to go thru a whole in the ceiling in one of the other rooms where the blue kimono guys are.

There's a use item that helps with the miniboss.

You may have missed an area back where Gyoubo (Guy on the horse) was. Opposite side of the statue

Yeah it worked out, I knew it felt weird that I hadn't seen any story ♥♥♥♥ for so long, finally got to fight another boss.
