Kite in senpou temple help

I pupeteered the assassin into pulling the kite to me but i didn't ride it and now he won't pull it back(He made the kite go up without me). I left then came back to find him gone completely and i can't operate the kite myself neither. I tried quitting out only to find him there stuck holding the mechanism. (In game everytime i travel into senpou temple from anywhere he's gone and I can't operate the kite, and if I quit out at kite area and come back he'll be there holding the mechanism without doing anything else and i can't kill him) on a side note blackhat badger isn't there either, he's not even ashina castle

Yes you said that you did not ride it. Are you trying to say the kite is back where it started, and you are trying to get it back UP? Because from what you wrote it seemed to me you where trying to get the kite back DOWN, in order to ride it. Which is not how this works.

No i meant the kite is where it started and I'm trying to get it DOWN to me, sorry for not being clear enough

Alright... the Kite starts at the bottom, close to the assassin, and you can operate it to let it go UP, which is temporary. Puppeteering the assassin makes him operate it, so the kite goes UP permanently. This is so you can go to the place from where you can reach it, when it is UP, and use it. That's the point of the kite. You are not supposed to ride it from where the assassin is.

If the Kite is at the top you can use it, if it is at the bottom and you can't get it to rise, then you probably can't use it in this playthrough. You are not stuck either way, since using the kite is not necessary to progress.

Kite is at the top but I can't get it down

Again, you are not supposed to get it down. You can only use it when it is at the top. You may not have found the place yet where you can use it.

feels kinda weird when you thought something was quite clear, to see others misunderstood it.

when the kite is raised you can see its quite close to another cliff you can reach later in the level.
more so then that there is a npc that hints all of the information to you in said location.

I've already acquired the mortal blade so I'm not sure where to go. Do you reach it in senpou mountain or some other area?

Well, the Kite has not left the area has it? Look where it is now, and try to get closer to it.

But if you want a step by step guide how to reach the kite:

1. follow the path up the mountain.
   
2. grapple up into the building with the praying monks, and leave through the window on the other side.
   
3. turn left, and grapple up to the huge tree.
   
4. when you reach the top of the tree, turn right and walk along the tree to the end of its farthest reaching branch.
   
5. you should now see the kite before you.
   
6. jump and grapple to the kite to reach the other side of the ravine.

jesus guys. he's confused because he thinks he needs to ride the kite from the starting area.

you ride the kite from a different place. Just move up senpou temple to the giant tree where the crazy lady talking about a dried and fresh fruit is. The kite will take you to the giant snek #2 in a cave. use the prosthetic.
