You already bought all that you can buy right now, and if you have not missed a pickup of Ash, then you have to either progress, or get lucky with drops, to get more.
You found the answer already, you just did not like it.
well, I asked if anything else existed, so you know. there's a nice way to do this.
anyway, I ended up looking up the rough map and progressed up to the abandoned dungeon to get to the mibu village. currently stuck at the dungeon's ghost boss, which I need to farm contefettis for, each try...
I tried once, ended up having 2 confettis left, looked sh*t up and now I'm farming the same 3 blue samourai guys over and over again.
it's like, who was missing farming in dark souls, amaright?
but hey, if you have tips for the dungeon boss, I'm a taker.
from what I gathered it's about deflecting his ray attack and spamming normal strikes to prevent other attacks but I got obliterated on my first try. maybe a lack of damage? I'm only at level 2 on that and I didn't use any item to do more.
In the late game you can buy as much ash and confetti as you want. In the early game, the resources are deliberately limited, so you learn how to deal with things without relying on items, and to tell you that some things are meant for later.
There are two ways into the Dungeon, one will lead to the"ghost boss" if you want to go to Mibu Village, The other is guarded by someone else. And there is another way to Mibu Village which does not go through the dungeon, but you need to move forwards to reach it.
Oh and yes, you are basically underleveled, as Mibu Village is meant for much later.
Are you saying I was rude?
I was. pointing out that you were rude. you just repeated what I said and told me I was dumb for asking because I already knew the answer and just refused to accept it, for some implied reason I'll leave to your understanding. I think that's fairly rude an answer for a comment that doesn't help.
and most of your comment is "git gud" stuff I was doing anyway. I specifically said I was looking for info, not e-peen bragging advice explaining I don't need to know. I'm gonna repeat myself but the whole issue that all the forums I find devolve into this. just people saying "I did it with my eyes closed lel. you don't need this!".
like I said, I'm progressing fine, I was merely asking if there's a convenient way to get a useful item. because part of being skilled at a game is knowing its mechanics.
but hey, thanks for confirming that I'm underleveled. I might try to poke around something easier first. get a couple dmg upgrades.
"You found the answer already, you just did not like it."
I mean... that and the fact he didn't answer my question...
do I need to erase that post?
I mean, talk about irony considering I wrote it because every Sekiro post I found was full of irrelevant replies.
I keep being called here and it's a waste of time for everyone involved, every time.
I really don't need the drama. nor do you, imo.
You said it was impossible to find the answer, when you had already found it. So, you did not want to accept the answer you found, and implied it was made impossible to find the real answer (read: the answer you wanted to be true) by people who were being toxic. Just as you are doing here again.
And if giving you the answer you were asking for does not help, I wonder if you were asking the question you wanted to be answered.
I never said anything of the sorts, I asked you if you thought you needed to farm, because you seem to do it, and at the same time do not seem to enjoy it. Which to me makes no sense, but what do I know, I just play games for fun.
I gave you the info you were asking for, even if you don't like it. I also gave you the information that you don't need to bang your head against the boss you seem to be grudgingly farming confetti for, even if you want to break sequence and get to mibu village early, because there are other ways.
If you want a full walkthrough, look at those you already found.
Nowhere did you say you where progressing fine, you said in fact that you were stuck. Twice. That is the opposite of progressing fine.
And I don't see what getting told a convenient way to acquire a certain item has to do with "knowing the games mechanics" (or skill). Knowing the games mechanics (and content) could make you realise that the effect of that item can be replicated with a prosthetic tool you can get very early on. You might even have it. And spirit emblems are much easier to come by than a specific random drop.
Well, I guess I was rude again. So, I will leave you now to figure it out.
dude, I'm not here to argue with an insecure stranger about their social skills.
I went ahead and blocked you. maybe you do, but I don't need your drama.
you have a nice, calming day.
the irony is delicious.
Anyway, try farming the monkeys. There is one spot where you they spawn in the woods on the way from the Old Grave to the Serpent Shrine idol.
THANK YOU! an actual answer.
duly noted.
PS: I mean, thanks bruv. at least you weren't JUST trying to... I dunno, hurt my feelings (?!). but still. some douche comes along, says there's no answer despite the fact we all know there is, then says "just deal with it" and I tell them there's a nicer way to do that. if that's the threshold for this forum to go on a victimising pile on of people demanding I'm thankful for the two 12yo that wasted my time, I guess that's duly noted too. "never post here again"
