Recommendations for gamepad for Sekiro
I've been playing Nioh with the keyboard and mouse, and found the controls somewhat frustrating even after rebinding. My understanding is that games like Nioh and Sekiro are (understandably) designed for a controller so don't always cross over well to keyboard/mouse.

Can anyone recommend a PC gamepad (not hideously expensive) that gets the job done for games like these?

Also, as someone that has never really had the need to use a gamepad, do you think it's even a good idea to try to transition to one or just make do with k&m?

Thanks in advance.

Xbox controllers are the goat.
In India, what I prefer for something uber cheap is the Redgear Pro. Real sturdy ones.

I usually play console games/port with a Xbox360 wireless controller since it's "integrated" with Windows.
However you can use any kind of controller since Steam can handle it.

Thanks, I'll probably get an Xbox controller. The reason I asked for recommendations was because I know there are cheaper controllers but was warned against getting those because they're clunkier/feel less comfortable.

I prefer DualShock 3, personally. DualShock 4 has Bluetooth and a headphone jack as well, though it also has the unfortunate touchpad.

From what I've heard, KB+M has been a workable option for a while now, it was just really poor in DS1 originally, so you can probably make do if you don't want a gamepad as well.

I tried keyboard and mouse in Nioh but have found it's less than ideal. he research done in advance. I guess it's probably going to be the same for Sekiro.

Nioh is made by a different developer, so I don't know.

There will always be only one supported (by devs) controller for PC: it's Xbox controller, why? because Microsoft owns Windows (unfortunately).
Often dualshocks doesn't even work correctly without third party programms.

Xbox One USB wired controller that I've purchased from ebay for $17.99 a few years ago is currently connected to my PC.
