Pre-order bonus ?

Can anyone explain to me the purpose of Pre-order "without" any bonus ?
I mean they will not earn more money or visibility ? right ?

Or I'm wrong ?

it doesn't say it anywhere but people said the preorder is going to come with a digital soundtrack and artbook, but i can't find anything saying that anywhere, alternatively if you preorder it from gamestop or eb games you get a katana letter opener apparently. but no matter what you get there are no in-game bonus

Well, judging by what happened with Metro: Exodus yesterday, you can play Sekiro on Steam if you pre-order it before Epic signs an exclusivity deal.

I wouldn't buy this if they go Epic Launcher only. I like being able to see reviews of actual gamers and having forums like these to discuss the game rather than having to go to some website or something. I also doubt they'll leave Steam tbh.
