Sekiro PS4 and Xbox Controller Fix HINT: LAUNCH THE GAME FROM THE INSTALLATION DIRECTORY NOT STEAM!!!

My fix was just to run the game's Sekiro.exe from the games install directory and not from Steam itself and my PS4 controller started working for me but I am not 100% sure it will work for anyone else I just know that it Worked for me. If you are using a PS4 controller and want the PS4 Button prompts and not Xbox Button prompts you need to install two Mods to get the PS4 buttons to show up.

First you need "Sekiro Mod Engine" which can be found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/sekiro/mods/6

Second You Need "Native PS4 Buttons" which can be found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/sekiro/mods/7?tab=description

According to the PS4 Buttons Modder it Turns out Sekiro has assets for PS4 buttons/menus but it wasn't activated in the final release.

To install the mod you need to make a "mods" folder in your Sekiro directory which you can go to by right clicking Sekiro choosing properties in steam clicking Local Files then Browse Local Files then you'll be taken to your Sekiro Directory or you can get there by going to "C:\Program Files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Sekiro or wherever you chose to install Sekiro", then add the mod folder so it would be "Sekiro\mods"

To install "Sekiro Mod Engine" put the install files in the game's MAIN DIRECTORY NOT YOUR "mods" Folder so "dinput8.dll" and "modengine.ini" would go into "C:\Program Files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Sekiro"

To install "Native PS4 Buttons" put the install files into your "mods" Folder not the "Main Directory" so go into the PS4 Buttons folder and copy the "menu" folder to the "mods" folder so it would go something like this

PS4 Buttons Download Directory: B:\Downloads\PS4Buttons-7-1-0-1553315038\PS4Buttons
that will take you to the "menu" Folder copy that "menu" folder to: C:\Program Files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Sekiro\mods

Now you should have PS4 Button promps instead of Xbox Button prompts.

This fix Made MY PS4 controller work and the mods added PS4 button Prompts to Match the controller this will also work with the Xbox One Controller you just don't need to install the PS4 Button Mods.
