I'd buy a physical because Activision means more physicals, which means more sellers needing to sell the remaining preorder copies for much lower prices.

In 2016/2017, DS3 physical was on sale in Amazon India for Rs 600 (10$, yes you got that right). Unfortunately, I didn't think that I'd ever like Dark Souls though, plus I didn't know about the discount anyway).

Or better wait for torrent. I am actually laughing because publishers deserves the piracy when they are selling overpriced games on third-world countries or countries still in the development.

Dude piracy's not the way.
If you can't afford it, don't buy it.
Plus, don't do this to FromSoft and Activision.
Atleast Activision took up a game which they won't monetize much on.

if u r poor it doesnt mean publisher should cut down the price

Lol, it does, actually.Local pricing exists to prevent piracy and get people to actually buy games in poorer countries. Most games are like %50 cheaper in Russia because nobody would/could buy them otherwise.Smart publishers usually lower the price in poor countries so they will get a little money, instead of none at all.But this is Activision, so.

This is standard Activision price in India. The only worry is whether it'll get steep discounts like Dark Souls 3 did during sales.

To all third world country gamers, bigass game companies like Activision will NEVER EVER follow regional pricing. So please expect to pay the local equivalent to $60 in all their future games. Indie companies are the way to go.

Accha.
So MHW isn't 2999?
And AC: Odyssey isn't 2999?
And most other AAA games aren't 2999?
I think 2999 is pretty much a standard in India.
