I wouldn't worry about it too much if you can play Dark Souls 3.
PC 60 fps cap
i had a r 290 until recently-ish.
If you play on 1080p and can stand the aircraft turbine that is the cooler on full load, you will be better off with the PC version because you will be able to run it at 60FPS unless they mess up the port.
PS4 base model is a potato, so you have to deal with 30 fps with drops on a mostly medium-high graphical settings. PS5 is coming soon, no idea on its backward compatibility but the quality and fps of the game will remain about the same if compatible. If not compatible, your game is basically dead when PS4 end of line and is no longer buyable anywhere but there might be a very small chance of a remake/remaster for PS5 which you can buy the game again... lol.
