the damage enemies do is way too ♥♥♥♥ing much.
EDITED: Problems resolved thanks to the help of chivalrous and excellent due of Blind Reverend and Mason of Germany, thank you lads! <3 Having received the information and moral support i think i can overcome the obstacles before me and its all thanks to you!

Original Post:
most enemies slam me for 50-60% my hp with 2 beads buff, most bosses and minibosses do even more. Im stuggling hard to kill anything. Meanwhile i do ♥♥♥♥ all of any damage only bosses i managed to kill so far are lady butterfly and the horseman.
"learn the fight' worked for the lady, where after like 15 tries i managed to kill her off, but for others it takes a while to even get to a boss then i die in 1 combo.

Shuriken does no damage unless enemy is in flight which is super conditional, axe is slow and pointless, i have not seen spear break any armor so far, but it does do more damage then sword and has superior reach. Firecrackers are ignored half the time when it lands, attacks arent reliably interrupted, firetube does no damage while being pointblank and having long cast time and using resources literally ♥♥♥♥♥iest weapon i got.

Fan is great, no complaints there.
I was having a great time in game up till the point giant snake showed up. Even when it didnt see me move at all when i moved to that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ carreage it immediately psychically knew im there, it follows you no matter what, doesnt ♥♥♥♥ off even if you go afk for 30 mins. How does that ♥♥♥♥ing thing survive in the mountains what does it eat? Then enemies slowly started dishing out 50-60% hp bar damage what the ♥♥♥♥. Im not superhuman to block and dodge everything why does it do so much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ damage when we do ♥♥♥♥ing nothing in return.

Btw love the visuals the design of most of the places ive been to is outstanding.

- miniboss in japanese blighttown who is continually barraging with terror, cant really stop to drink anything or i get blown up
- immortal knight on the mountain that doesnt die
- big claw dude attacking at incredible speed in the snow mountain of much gunpowder
- miniboss on same moutain who has incredibly high hp pool and 2 shots me

You'd be disappointed to hear that the Snake "Fight" isn't as much of a fight as it is progressing to a certain point and then doing a single plunge attack to kill it.

- Genichiro can be annoying especially with his bow, true, but he is far from the hardest boss.
- If you have problems with enemies causing terror, consider using Divine Confetti. It's an item you can use to buff your sword that will help a lot fighting those guys.
- Armored Warrior is super easy once you figure out that you are supposed to push him off the bridge with a deathblow....
- Just deflect it. His attacks are very consistent and the timings are very easy to remember. In fact, the entire boss fight is just a skill check for proper deflect timings.
- Who are you talking about exactly?

The tools are very situational and they are less meant for raw damage and more to exploit certain weaknesses which the enemies have. As for the damage: Yes, the game is punishing. So were FromSoftware's 5 previous game as well.

You don't have to fight that snake yet, just try to avoid its attack and get to the end of the zone for the statue.
The game is very hard at the beginning, cause you have little health and very limited healing, that gets better. Specially after beating genichiro, you will take less damage, cause the game forces you to use parry and not to spam combos too often. The 3rd of the regular hit gets you killed, so try to avoid that.
shurrikens are great, but only for some enemies, like flying or monkeys or ranged soldiers. Very effective against that white monkey dual wielding annoyance.

dark souls 2-3 were cakewalk compared to this. I mean look at this ♥♥♥♥ right there is a knight enemy in heavy armor i struggled to take him down 7 times, on 8th i managed to 'lethalblow' him he stands the ♥♥♥♥ up, 2 more deathblows ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nothing. ?????? doesnt seem like anything is happening, spear is not doing anything to armor, eventually i die. What the ♥♥♥♥ was i supposed to even do there?
Like with lady there was at least progress right next stage happening so i know im on the right path this time nothing.

As someone who played through Dark Souls 2, I disagree. Dark Souls 2 is brutal if you don't level up the skill that gives you i-frames, meanwhile Sekiro is just all about deflecting attacks while sometimes having to jump or avoid the attack if it is a sweep or grab respectively.

"Knight enemy in heavy armor" Who are you referring you specifically?

The dude on moutain who keeps saying 'no matter how much you strike me its futile' and 'my son will get a healthy dose of ghoul serum'

The armored warrior that guards the bridge has to be death shoved from the bridge, so let him
destroy its walls and shove deathblow when he is near an open spot..

Literally would have never guessed that, thank you!

Don't do the headless minibosses too early, they are very tough and you waste resources since they are not neccessary to progress.
I did them after killing the monk and the big monkey, but before the picking up the flower.

I shall use this knowledge to vanquish my foes, thank you sir! The guy i was referring too is on same mountain as the fast attacking guy, he is miniboss on the way there, you know while you are rapelling just to stay alive while you are being barraged from all sides, - there is a midway 'island' in the sea of clouds with that guy sitting there with a shotgun of sorts, he has awfull lot of hp, does 60% of my hp per successfull shotgun blast, which is part of his combo and if i get too close to edges i get swiss chessed by snipers from across the continent

I think he means the Shichimen Warrior, but those are also meant to be fought with Divine Confetti because you can actually destroy those "terror balls" with your sword if it is buffed with Confetti. Oh also, Divine Confetti greatly increases damage. Get yourself the anti-air Deathblow from Black Hat Badger and you can make that fight very easy.

Go from the Gun Fort idol deathblowing all the riflemen along to way to flank the Snake Eyes. If you get close enough to his side you can deathblow her, but the positioning is tricky. I also found it better to go from her left side, meaning, when you cross the bridge to go back to him, jump across the gap on your left rather than backtracking the path you took (which would now be om your right) to get to her.

Shichimen are beyond annoying, yes, try to buy anti air deathblow from blackhat badger first. With the purple umbrella they are easier.
