Am I able to use a trainer without an EAC/VAC/any kind of Ban?
Title says it all. Am I able to use a Trainer for Sekiro without worrying about a ban of any sort?

And before you say anything like, "n00b just get good" or "cheater cheater"
I personally don't care what you think of me, especially since this is a SINGLE PLAYER GAME. If I enjoy the game my way, and I'm not harming anyone, who are you to judge me?

I will play the game legit when I learn/beat the game. I want to enjoy it. I'll be the first to admit that currently, I am unable to beat the game as it is too difficult.

You absolutely can since it's single player game without any of the previous online multiplayer stuff to worry about. I used one a week or two after the game came out to play around with how stronk weapon arts can be with infinite emblems.

That was actually quite a fun way to play. A lot of people overlook weapon arts because they try and keep them for firecrackers interuppts etc but a lot of them are actually really good!

It is silly in most people's eyes, but yes you can use cheat software for this game. There are other warnings though. The software may be detected in relation to other games and may cause the issues you are worried about. Nothing works perfectly so it may be ill advised to use the software if you commonly play other games that frequently search for cheat software.

Curious which one you used? The trainer I have does not offer unlimited emblems.

Do you think just simply having the program on my PC would be harmful, or just simply running it while playing other games?

Because I don't plan to run it while playing other games. I'll close it every time I'm NOT playing Sekiro.

EAC/VAC auto-detect certain files and auto-ban users. Pretty much everyone who gets banned on CS:GO was auto-banned. They weren't hand picked by an actual human -- that's what VAC is for.

The game has to be VAC supported in the first place for you to get a VAC ban. This game doesn't have VAC protection.

Not exactly sure where to check if a game has a VAC/EAC secure system.

It's listed on the store page where it lists supported features. Single Player, Multiplayer, Achievements, Controller Support, ect.

Thanks for that! As much time as I have on games, I don't spend much time on the store page so I'm not very familiar with it. I appreciate the help friend :)

Honestly, I'd make fun of you for being a dumbass in this case before I'd make fun of you cheating. But, yeah, your well allowed to use trainers for games that aren't protected by VAC, like this one.

I'm saying you're dumb because all the information you need could be found with a simple google search. -> https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=4044-qdhj-5691

I'll give you a break for not knowing where to find VAC enabled games because you have to actually click twice for that -> https://store.steampowered.com/search/?category2=8

Just don't use any cheats or whatever and connect to a VAC secured server at the same time.

I appreciate all this information you've given me. I do have to defend myself to some degree though, as I DID Google the phrase; "Can I mod/cheat in Sekiro without being banned." and all that really came up was just a bunch of sites offering cheats for the game, nothing actually discussing whether or not it was a banable offense.

Again, thank you for letting me know all of this for the future. Sometimes people just learn things later than others, and now that I know, I'm more knowledgeable so thanks =)

If you are concerned, just make sure to close the trainer before you play anything else.
