Also considering the fact that you've beaten him before means that you already know a lot of his attacks. Even on NG+3 he wasn't really any harder.
Don't be afraid of NG+.
Yeah, you'll be fine phase one, but that spear combo in phase 2 is so delayed and hits like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ truck LOL. You can sometimes get him in a loop of his leap attack into flame vent fire dmg if you need any tactics. You basically oil him, then bait his leap attack by running like a scared little baby wolf, dodge, flamevent into living force, rinse repeat till out of emblems. Then phase 3 you can just hope to get lucky with him using the lighting attack :P.
I ain't know the math, but apparently first NG+ is the biggest leap, then it's very minor difficulty boost each NG+ after that, until +7?
