Which is better for this game? Controller or Mouse & keyboard?
As the title says.

kb+m is better for reaction in my oppinion, when you really focus on the enemy and his attacks.
If you fight some enemies / bosses with more agile tactic like hit and run, (what i would recommedn for some enemies) controller would be better since it gives better conroll of camera and surroundings.

Mostly kb+m should be better.

I'll take that as a "It doesn't matter."

I played on kb+m, but neither really matters because you'll mainly be deflecting

Never tried k and m, but for pretty much all of the previous games from the same dev controller was better, so i assume it is the same here.
only play these games with a controller, but from what i heared KB+M are also good.

I didn't use controller in my life but the game is okay with k&m

Used Controller and it works pretty well

It's designed around a controller, but plays fine with mouse and keyboard. It's mostly personal preference honestly.

Tried it out just now. Took a while to get used to, but it works good.

I don't know why but for me I can only play these types of games with a KB and M. I have big hands and on a controller my fingers lock up after a while. I think because they are bent when using a controller as opposed to extended with a KB+M. Also a good mechanical KB+M will be more responsive for anyone. So whatever not just feels better for you but whatever is most responsive because of course timing is everything.

I like both IF i swap the Left Thumbstick and D-Pad functionality. It makes the gamepad play like a keyboard with movement keys. WASD=D-Pad. No freefrom movement unless right stick is used like a mouse.

Here's my personal Steam gamepad config using an Xbox gamepad

This ain't Dark Souls: Prepare to Die

They actually put effort into making sure kb&m work, and it actually works really well.

i prefer controller for souls games, dont know why, just feels better i guess. based on others reviews KB+M is servicable although i dont know how directionals work.
