well im not sure but you could look in the headless first cave to see if you can find a secret door,
as this would be a short cut to the bell tower area

Yes, go to the cave with your first Headless and jump down. There's a small path to the right with a small tunnel in the wall that leads to the Demon Bell.

there is a shortcut in headless cave and you can specifically play the whole game with bell demon except the first 1 mini boss (ogre)
