NG+ and without healing with additional hardships (AKA No Kuro Charm). No cheesing. Pure skill. Dude didn't even die once in the entire game.
Yep, managed it on NG+7 bell demon and no charm with no damage taken. It just takes practice. And remember that Isshin is one of the easiest bosses in the game in all 3 phases to control what he does. You can and should be aggressive, though in his second and third phases you have to be watching him carefully when attacking him and be ready to stop attacking and switch to defense if you don't see him stagger from one of your attacks.
But this dude in the video is really impressive. Seeing him makes me want to kill Isshin even more
