How do you unlock skills?

I have one skill point but it won't let me use it...

You will want to go back and talk to the sculptor every so often.

I just wanna know how to unlock the skills. I don't wanna spend an hour or so farming xp and not knowing when I can use the skill points.

go to any buddha statue, pray there, there should be an menu telling you about "acquire skills".

To unlock more skill trees, find them in the game (not really hard)

And I'm telling you that you need to talk to the sculptor and he will tell you what to do.
