The unique Demon from Hatred dialouge

I've never ♥♥♥♥♥♥ this, so im trying to get it in my current playthrough.
I havent found anyone who has written a certain guide on how to achieve it, just that they gave orangutang all the sake and then eavesdropped on him and emma talking about the flame.

I thought this was enough my previous NG, but it wasnt. And right now im in the same situation. I have listened to the conversation, but now I dont know how to progress it.

Odes anyone know?

Did you give Monkey Booze to the sculptor?

When I discovered this unique "dialogue" first on my third playthrough, I gave the sculptor all 3 kinds of Sake and the Monkey Booze, than I also evesdropped on him and emma two times. The first time they talked about "the flames of hatred", and the second time they talked about Sekiro and Kuro and how to sever immortality (I think the order of these things is irrelevant).

One thing where I am not 100% sure, is that you also have to speak to the old woman who stands in the room where you first met the "Tengu of Ashina". Because she talks about Demons before the battle with Demon of Hatred and after the battle she say something according to, "You knew who the one armed Demon was before, don't you?"

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I also gave the different kinds of sake to Emma and Isshin. It could be that this has something to do with Sekiro recognising the Demon of Hatred, because Isshin tells you something about "Shura".

Just discovered he had a new dialouge after i entered fountainhead palace. Now he asked me to kill him when the time comes.

And i did give him the booze, i just figured it was a type of sake.

I'm reasonably sure it's a combination of factors but I've never been able to pinpoint exactly what's required. I know the sake is involved somehow (I gave all types to the Sculptor, Emma and Isshin) and I have a feeling Chrysalis is right about talking to the old woman next to Gyobu's boss arena after fighting him. Once the Sculptor has disappeared I know that the merchant at the shrine has a dialogue telling you where he went too, I think that might also be related. I'm unsure about eavesdropping on Emma and the Sculptor though, because I have had the dialogue happen without ever doing that part.

I got the dialouge.
What I did was:

- Give Sculptor the 3 sakes and monkey booze
- After obtaining Mortal Blade, Emma moves to sculptor. Eavesdrop on them
- After entering Foutainhead Palace, Head back to sculptor. He will ask you to kill him, because the flames will eventually take him.

Talked to the marchant, and as allways tells me that the sculptor went off. But I doubt its needed for the dialouge.

This was all I needed. Did not give sake or monkey booze to anyone else. Did not talk to the lady after Gyobou fight.

I'm not sure about that either, I don't believe I ever got this dialogue. It could be possible that there are a bunch of triggers and you need to hit a certain amount of them?

Well, apart from what i listed, I exhausted all the normal dialogue. Also allways made sure to travel back and see if he said something new after the game progressed. He has comments about defeating Owl at Ashina and in the memory to mention a few.

Possible triggers to activatae the special dialogue (i think i got it once)
1) Talk to old woman after Gyoubu.
2) Ask Sculptor what Buddha showed him after completing hirata estate.
3) Eavesdrop on Sculptor and Emma after he catches dragonrot (first dragonrot in the playthrough)
4) Give him all the sake (unconfirmed but just in case)
5) Eavesdrop on him and Emma when she comes to visit him after Great Shinobi fight (BEFORE!!! you talk to Emma near Old Grave if you are going for Purification, or she will move to Temple permanently and block the last step)
6) After hearing Emma saying to Sculptor that she is ready to kill him - rest at nearby statue to make Emma go away and talk to Sculptor. He will call you out on your Eavesdrop and ask you to be his killer instead.
7) Just in case - ask Infobroker where the Sculptor went after he dissapears.

Those are the steps i took.
I think giving sake to anyone else is not needed.

The Only thing you need to do is three things:
1. Give him all the sake
2. Eavesdrop on him and Emma after collecting the mortal blade, the flower and the stone
3. Talk to him until he says you need to kill him
Done it several times with just this

P.s. In step 3, choose ''ask him what Buddha showed him'' to proceed the conversation

It is VERY easy to miss this eavesdrop Emma and Sculptor after getting Mortal Blade... I missed it 😒

Yes, I had this happen to me, too! In my first playtrough I didn't even know you could evesdrop on characters like Kuro, Emma or the Sekijou.
