Missing one prayer bead

I've been following this guide https://sekiroshadowsdietwice.wiki.fextralife.com/Game+Progress+Route
and have gone through the detailed guide (i.e this https://sekiroshadowsdietwice.wiki.fextralife.com/Ashina+Outskirts) for each area in turn.

I defeated the Demon of Hatred and Seven Ashina Spears - Shume Masaji Oniwa and now have 39/40 beads.

I've done the optional flashback areas.

Does anyone know if there is a bead not mentioned in the wiki guides? Do I get one from defeating Genichiro/Isshin?

I'm going for the Dragons Homecoming ending but by following the wiki's guide I'm pretty sure
I've progressed all the endings as much as is possible if that makes any difference.

The one that I missed was one the in the Ashina Depths in the large area just before you fight the two Guardian Apes. There's an item on top of a statue I couldn't figure out how to get to and it turns out that there is a prayer bead there. Just a guess.

I don't think any of the final bosses drop them.

That site has a list of just all the prayer beads. I'd go to that page and double check every single one. You do not get one from defeating the final boss.

Did you fight the red-eyed Ashina Elite (Ujinari Mizuo) during the final invasion?

He’s under the watchtower room Isshin stayed in. Where the 3 nightjar usually are.

The route guide says he and the fire Juzou reskin in the ablazed outskirts are optional, but both drop prayer beads.

I'll check all of these suggestions when my computer finishes with this dam windows 10 update.

Are there any beads that are completely missable even with the box at the shrine other than those in the optional memories at the estate?

Unless someone changed it since I used it, that list is complete.

You could rather easily tell if it's incomplete or not by counting the number listed.

Is it possible that it has somehow glitched out and not put the missing bead in the box at the shrine or does the fact that the bead isn't there mean that I definitely can still obtain it?

If the bead isn't there then you should still be able to get it.

I missed the one at the building where you first meet Isshin, after the horseman boss.I think I picked it up after the Demon of Hatred.

Got the ape statue one.
I have killed Mizuo (that guy was harder that most bosses) and fire Jouzou.
I have the one in the building where you meet Isshin.

A silly thing I did once was open a chest, I think the one in the bottom of the lake in fountainhead palace, but forget to actually loot the bead afterwards.

I found it!

i somehow missed Long Arm Centipede Sen-Un in Senpou Temple, I must have walked right by the building without seeing that you could get in via the roof.

Now I can finally go get my revenge on Genichiro.
