Can't get second blood sample
I used the first one wrong. Then I can't get another blood sample from all sick people.

What to do?

Who did you ask for a sample?

The one from the vendor would be the second, the first (from the Sculptor) you get from Emma. You should be able to talk to her and give her the sample.

The second one for me for my 3 or 4 playthroughs was always the old lady in the bombed out building halfway through the Ashina outskirts. Maybe try her?

You can't even collect a blood sample before Emma's collected one from the Sculptor.

OP, did you use the blood sample instead of giving it to Emma? Is that even possible?

OP, did you use the blood sample instead of giving it to Emma? Is that even possible?
I know, I was telling them that they probably had both without knowing it, and to talk to Emma to end the quest.

Check your inventory for rot essence and go talk to whoever is sick aside from the sculptor. Go talk to that person and confirm that you don't get a blood sample from them. Check and make sure you don't have an option to cure dragonrot at the idols, maybe you got the ability and just missed it somehow.
