I saw no window, lol. There was a balcony area, but nothing open.
It took me a while to realize that two blue samurai around the corner on the left after you go downstairs from the Shrine (almost said "bonfire" lmao) are blocking a paper wall you can roll through, and there's a path down on the right that takes you to the roof.
This is how I managed to get to Genichiro, but it took me like 2 hours of running around an empty building trying to figure it out XD
16:45 is the window you could have gone through. The other way also works (On my first playthrough, I personally went out there first, and went in through the window to discover that it was just a miniboss on the other side of the ominous looking door) but the window is obviously much faster and far more intended as the way back to Genichiro.
Anyway you got it,congratz lol
I've done it the hard way AGAIN lol.
Also going to the gun fortress before Senpou Temple. XD
