From where you first enter this area it would be to the right as you're looking straight ahead. There's lots of debris around the tunnel entrance area underwater.
I went down there briefly I think, I picked up a prayer bead then booked it back to the surface.
Ah, found it. Thanks.
I got past the great carp, found the sculptor's idol, I also found the feeding grounds, and got the truly precious bait and fed it to the great carp.
I now have a Great White Whisker or whatever its called. What do I do with that?
Also I hear the carp merchants' inventory combines, one of them...becomes a carp or something? What was it? What do I do with that sidequest?
I feel so stupid lol.
It is out of the way, but the carp swims into there when you go nearby, and I think the lady hints at it as well, so it isn't actually that bad, you just happened to miss the hints.
At first I wasn't sure if that was an enemy or not until I swam closer. Also I just see the carp swim by, unless you're in the right spot, not blocked by an underwater hill or building you'll see it swim into the corner. I didn't realize it was over there, actually. I thought it was hiding in a hole somewhere so I was a bit nervous to go under water. Moot point now though I suppose. XD
When you feed him properly he should be found dead I think near giant ape fight place (I can check if you wish?)...
That's also the explanation why there are pieces of a building and roof lying near the waterfall in the area where you fight the guardian ape, because they fell down from the Fountainhead Palace and landed there, just like the Carp.
It could also explain how the guardian ape became infected and immortal. If the waterfall is from the fountainhead palace and the ape would've drank from it some time ago, than this could've caused his infection.
Oooh yes, great speculation!
