if yes then the main thing is you kinda need divine confetti or else she's really tank against your non-buff sword
the main idea is you need to keep fighting with her all the time while deflect all of her moves
(which is not easy for player who just started)
ashes and fire cracker will makes fight a bit easier since she's only has like 1-1.30 sec of stun cooldown from it
or if you wanna take easy way (not really recommend she's good skill check as the bosses will even more difficult in future)
spam the snap seed
i don't mean to be rude or showing off here. i just wanna share about my experience struggling fighting her. this took me about 6 hours of tries. after so many death and finally got her.

i hope this can help you to understand how to deal with most of her moveset and also to know the time to attack her safely.
and of course there are more easy way to fight her, by using divine confetti and 3x snap seed. firecrackers might also help you to stun her at least to give you 2-3 free hit attack.
Best tactic against her is hardened defense. Learn her slow rhytm, deflect it all, get in a hit or two after a mikiri / jump kick and back on the defensive. Never do thrusts as she successfully blocks them every time.
In 2nd phase you can deflect her ghosts... Or use Snap Seeds to dispel them (but it only works when they actually appear, so time them right).
3rd phase is a giant pain in the ass as she suddenly changes her routine and becomes far more agressive.
Her thrusts almost entirely get replaced by the spew attack. The best counter-action is to dash behind her left hand and get 1-2 hits on her flank.
She also learns this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ downwards slash that's super quick and very hard to read and she will use it all the time to punish agreesion.
Basically: never allow yourself more than 2 attacks, ever.

ohh that sounds like a F fest - im currently stuck on her 1 bar version xD
that could be it but Im most certain my controller sucks up all the performance.
1. Since its a ps3 Controller which needed add. plug ins to run/being recognized.
2. It is connected via USB cable but its borken at the contact so any movement immediatly disconnects it - and when that happens the game stutters like sh* same in dark souls or any other game I used the controller - im not even sure if ill get a new one anytime soon :(
ohh, i see. yeah, i was also having experience that with my old ps3 controller before and that's really annoying indeed. i hope you get a new one soon. don't lose hope dude, anything could just happen anyway.
i tried it with the snap thing and it deals an humongous amount of damage on her. caps on 3 though but thats enough "headstart" I wanted to try it "legit" but i kinda lose it :D maybe when i get a new controller i might defeat her.
(sounds like a lame excuse though hahahaha) but i really die to stupid mistakes and attacks i should be deflecting but eat like a baby eats his Spoon-Plane
Were you talking about Corrupted Monk in Mibu VIllage?
Woopsie doopsie on my part...
In either case, the general tactic stays the same: defensive combat style, with occasional counter attacks.
Although getting used to keyboard controls will be pain, and changing in the middle of the game will extra torturous...
