Blue Cave Bug?

I am in the blue caves and killed the Specter and have been wandering around looking for Will for God knows how long. After giving up I discovered I was supposed to find a monster called a minitaur, which I have not. I know of one door I have not opened, but I do not have any keys. I have the double jump shoes but I feel like I explored every door there is. There is one passage I cannot reach, it's a narrow vertical jump hallway, but the double jump isn't even close to reaching it. What am I supposed to be doing?

2. Watching Youtube playthrough can help you find "where you may have missed".

I did watch this video and it did not help me. I don't have the key for that door. I think I used a key on the wrong door and softlocked myself.

Unless you have modified the game in some way, a softlock shouldn't be possible.

I would recommend using the Wiki to look at the location for the various keys, as you cannot "use a key in the wrong place" unless you've changed something about the game itself.

Similarly, I would recommend watching the previous videos in that series to see where you may have missed a key.

I didn't realize the wiki had key locations. yes. I ended up running clean past a treasure chest in a corner room. Thank you.
