How to enter the snowy peaks?

Hey, im trying to get into the snowy peaks, but there seems to be a gate thats blocking my way in the second rectangle area that you come in from the plains. Theres a lever there, with a gate infront of it, and a chest right behind it. You can flip it, but it doesnt open either gate. Does anyone know how to help?

Can you please clarify where you’re talking about? I’m not entirely sure what you mean by “Plains”. My recommendation is to see the maps as listed on the wiki here: https://monster-sanctuary.fandom.com/wiki/Snowy_Peaks

One of the simplest ways to get to the Snowy Peaks is to jump over spikes and use fly from the Mountain Pass —> Snowy Peaks.
