How to light up dark areas

Found 3 already I think, and I have no idea on how to light them. Fire monsters say they can light up torches but I used them and apparently there's none around

Two methods:

1. Light producing monsters like the firefly or the cat with glow orb will help.

2. Dark vision monsters like the bat.

Caraglow (icy mountains) and bat from dungeons (first area right from keep), to name two distinct examples I found. Caraglow is a super-powerful monster btw, grinding it is sooo worth it. Also, cute. Just saying.
